Our little slice of paradise

Enjoy a piece of paradise in our traditional Swedish 1980s beautiful lake house. The house is located on Stora Agnsjön with its private lake feel. Take the jetty for a spin and have a beautiful picnic in the middle of the lake or maybe a race with the Stand Up Paddleboards. Wild berries and grapes (in season) can be picked at the property. Listen to nature, waking up with your morning coffee at our southwest facing veranda. Perfect for families and groups seeking both relaxation and adventure.

For a family holiday, a golf trip or a romantic getaway, this charming Swedish lake house promises an unforgettable experience immersed in nature's splendor.

Welcome to our home in Sweden

Our beautiful home is located just a few steps away from its own lake, just 25 minutes from Gothenburg. Surrounded by woodland and with waterfront access, it offers the perfect retreat for relaxation and outdoor activities.

And only 10 minutes from Oijared, one of the best golf courses in Sweden, we have special packages for our guests.

The space

The location is truly unique, just by the lake with fresh lovely water for swimming and fishing.

The house is surrounded by wild forest and picking wild mushrooms or berries is a favourite pastime of ours.

The Lakehouse is suitable for up to 10 people inside the house with one person sleeping on a fold up bed. There is also a cottage in the garden that accomodates 2 people in a bunk bed but this doesn't have a bathroom or running water, however it's next to the main house.

For larger groups we work with the golf resort or Naas Fabriker to ensure you have what you need.

The main house has 5 bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms with tons of storage. And we have a little cottage “Lillstuga” with a bunkbed. We love mid century furniture and can proudly say that we have been selecting the pieces scattered around the house from all over Europe. The house is full of preloved, high quality, beautifully maintained furniture as well as kitchenware. Sustainability has been the key word for us when we have furnished our home. Don’t expect perfection but expect history and beautiful craftsmanship mostly from the 60s and 70s.

No walking is allowed on the ice in the winter which might prove to be extremely chilly and traumatic.

Downstairs:

The master bedroom has a Super king bed (180x200), the desk has been strategically placed to overlook the lake so you can get some inspirations if you do have to work. The extra bed (80x190) can easily go in here!

The single bedroom has a 105x200 bed. But can be turned in to a room which will have space for the extra bed that is 80x190 if you don’t want it in the master.

Laundry room with washing machine and dryer, bathroom with shower and toilet and tons of storage.

Upstairs:

Second master is situated behind the living room with a Super king (180X200) bed that can be divided in to 2 singles.

Next to the kitchen you will find a third master with 2 single beds that can be pushed together to form a Super King, 180x200.

Bunkbed room - top bed is 90x200 and bottom is 120x200.

To get to this bunkbed room one has to go thru the third master so it suits a family staying together or friends that know each other well.

The kitchen table has 2 extensions and will fit 12 people.

The living room will easily fit 12 people but we have created a few different spaces. The table by the cabinet has a pull out chess game on one side and a tray for dice games on the other.

The house has a Lillstuga (cottage) on the property that is the teenagers favourite, it can be heated in the winter but there is no bathroom, just the woods or the bathrooms in the main house:) It features a bunk bed (both beds 90x200) and a desk in case work needs to be done.

Outdoors:

We have four outdoor seating areas here in our Swedish Paradise.

2 patios, one facing the lake and one on entrance side.

A table and some chairs by the lake. And last a table and some chairs at the front of the house.

There is a lot of storage in the house so no need to keep suitcases in the rooms if they don’t fit under the beds.

Bedlinen and towels will be provided but please do bring blankets for picnics and towels for lake use.

We are in the process of restoring some old bikes and for now we have 3 bikes that you can use for free as well as 2 SUPs for the races across the lake:) The other bikes in the shed will not be safe so please only use the three that we have provided. We don’t have helmets so please bring your own!
